Hilo Medical Center Foundation Helps The Hospital Go Smoke-Free

Hilo Medical Center Foundation helps the hospital go Smoke-Free

Through a generous anonymous donation, the Hilo Medical Center Foundation was very proud to be able to aid the Hilo Medical Center in going Smoke Free in May of 2013. On May 31, 2013 the Coalition for a Tobacco-Free Hawaii held a ceremony congratulating the hospital on their efforts to make the environment a cleaner one for their patients. The Foundation was awarded a plaque for their help on the transition, and the Coalition stated that without the Foundation’s help, the campaign would not have been able to get off the ground.
